Bucknell at a Glance

Bucknell looks to bounce back from Sunday's 6-1 loss to a terrific Delaware team with a pair of home matches this weekend. The Bison will host Mount St. Mary's on Friday evening and Le Moyne on Sunday morning, with both matches set to be played indoors at the Central PA Tennis Center in South Williamsport.
Tim Zelikovsky accounted for Bucknell's point on Sunday against a Delaware team that had already beaten Penn State, Penn, William & Mary, and Villanova.
Zelikovsky won a three-set match against Alexandre Gluck at No. 6 singles. It was his sixth straight win and pushed his full-season record to 14-1. Bucknell's lone senior is 5-0 in duals, with wins coming at three different spots in the lineup. His career singles record is now 56-22, with the 56 wins ranking 12th in team history. He needs only three more wins to jump into the top 10.
Amar Tahirovic plays in the top flight in both singles and doubles, and his season records are now 12-3 (S) and 16-4 (D).
Oscar Bain Morena de Vega (13-5) and Liam Kilmer (11-3) are also double-digit winners in singles, while Bain (15-6), Brendan McDonald (13-7), Kilmer (11-4), Zelikovsky (10-4), and Adam Stavrakas (10-9) all have at least 10 doubles wins.
Bucknell now has a 76-33 combined singles record and a 42-22 doubles mark. The Bison had claimed the doubles point in each of its first four duals of the spring before Delaware ended that streak last week.

Mount St. Mary's at a Glance/Series History

The Mountaineers attended the Bucknell Invitational in the fall, so the two teams are quite familiar with one another. Bucknell went 7-2 in head-to-head singles matches and 5-1 in doubles back in September.
Bucknell is 19-2 against Mount St. Mary's in a series that dates back to 1992. The Mount won the first two matchups, and the Bison have captured the last 19 in succession.
The last dual match in the series was a 4-0 Bucknell win on Apr. 10, 2019. The Bison won the doubles with a pair of 6-0 verdicts and then clinched it with singles wins from Ethan Jacobs, Max McDonald (Brendan's older brother), and Marwan Abaza in the 1-2-3 spots.
Mount St. Mary's is 3-4 in dual matches this season, including two wins over Morgan State back in October and a 4-1 win over Howard last Saturday. The Mount also has a close 4-3 loss to Penn State along with setbacks against Navy (6-1), Drexel (7-0), and Hampton (5-2).
Jarrett Karnibad is the team's singles wins leader at 8-3, followed by Filippos Zachiotis at 7-5.
In dual match play, Mount St. Mary's has used five different players in each spot in the lineup.
Eliot Stevens and Victor Mignot is the top doubles tandem at 8-4.

Le Moyne at a Glance/Series History

Le Moyne is in its first year at the Division I level, and the Bison and Dolphins have met just one time previously.
Bucknell won 9-0 in DeWitt, N.Y., to open up the 2016 spring season. Dan Wright led the sweep with a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles.
Le Moyne is 6-4 in dual matches this season, including an 0-2 mark in Northeast Conference play with losses to Binghamton (4-3) and Saint Francis (5-2).
Five of the Dolphins' wins have come by 4-3 scorelines. They own victories against St. Bonaventure (4-3), Niagara (4-3 and 4-3), Colgate (4-3), FDU (4-3), Wagner (4-0).
Peter Hatton (5-3) and Luka Stojanovic (1-1) have both seen time at No. 1 singles. Alvaro Nunez has the top dual record of 10-2, including an 8-1 record at the No. 3 spot in the lineup.
