The Bucknell men's and women's swimming and diving teams are set to make their 2024-25 season debuts with a Homecoming dual meet against Patriot League rival Boston University on Saturday. The Terriers already have one dual under their belts this season after a sweep of Holy Cross last Saturday. The men rolled 204-90, while the women had to come from behind to edge the Crusaders 155-143.
Both Bison squads are coming off fourth-place finishes at the 2024 Patriot League Championships. The Boston University men were one spot behind in fifth, while the Terrier women were one notch ahead in third. The regular-season dual meet followed that trend, as Bucknell's men won 173.5-124.5, while the Boston women eked out a 157-143 verdict.Â
As part of Homecoming festivities, head coach Dan Schinnerer and the program will be welcoming back members of the 1974 men's championship team and the 2003 men's and women's championship squads. All three teams will be recognized throughout the meet.Â
