RESULTS
FOX CHAPEL, Pa. – The Bucknell men's golf squad compiled rounds of 298 and 296 on Monday for a 12-over-par total of 594, and the Bison are in eighth place in a strong field of 14 teams at the RedHawk Intercollegiate, hosted by Miami (Ohio) at the Pittsburgh Field Club.
Blake Wisdom is the low Bison thus far with a 147 total after carding a 72 and a 75. Wisdom made seven birdies on the day, including three in a row in the second round, and is tied for 17th place.
Bucknell's low round of the day was a 1-under 70 from Jackson Bussell in the afternoon round. Bussell bounced back nicely from an opening-round 80 with four birdies against only three bogeys. Freshmen Andres Barraza (77-72) and James Key (74-79) along with senior Jack Gardner (75-80) rounded out the Bison lineup.
Marquette has the team lead with a 9-over 577 total. George Washington is six strokes back at 583, with Toledo (588), Dayton (589), and North Dakota State (590) rounding out the top five.
Nate Adams of North Dakota State shot 70-71 for a 1-under 141 to grab the individual lead. Adams is the only player in red numbers, with Jakub Hrinda of George Washington and Max Lyons of Marquette two shots back.
The third and final round is slated for Tuesday morning.
