Women's Track & Field Completes Day Two of the Bison Outdoor Classic

LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Bucknell Bison women's track & field team finished the second day of the Bison Outdoor Classic by accomplishing several impressive feats.
Results
Senior runner Mia Bellucci finished fifth in the 5000-meter run by running for a mark of 16:51.14. More importantly, the time is the fifth best in Bucknell history for the event.Â
Lauren Joyce earned fifth place in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 39:14.61. It was a great showing for the rookie runner.Â
Abby Eisold grabbed sixth place in the heptathlon with a points total of 4,302. It was only 24 points away from tying her career high in the category.Â
Caryn Rippey placed 17th in the 1500-meter run on a time of 4:30.50. She was an agonizing 0.01 seconds away from tying for 10th place all-time in the Bucknell record books for the event.Â
