HAMILTON, N.Y. – An 8-0 Bison run, including seven unanswered goals in the second quarter, lifted the Bucknell men's lacrosse team to a 14-10 win over Colgate at a rainy Andy Kerr Stadium Saturday afternoon. It was Bucknell's first Patriot League victory of the season.

Bucknell trailed 3-1 early in the game, but its offense looked outstanding in the second quarter as it scored on seven of its 16 shots in the frame. The Bison held Colgate scoreless for nearly 24 minutes during the run. Davis started the run by scoring three times in a row in a 3:03 span of game time, striking with a minute left in the opening quarter and adding two more early in the second. Five different Bison followed with goals throughout the remainder of the half.
Zanelli registered four of his 11 saves during the second quarter, and Bucknell entered the break with a 9-3 lead despite Colgate winning 10 of 14 faceoffs.
