- Last weekend, the Bison defeated Lafayette and Lehigh to increase their winning streak to eight games. Catherine Jamison collected 27 kills over the weekend to lead the Bucknell attack. Jordan Hardy gathered 48 digs. The Bison swept Lafayette and defeated Lehigh in four sets. Bucknell improved to 15-9 overall and 11-4 in Patriot League competition. The Bison are now tied for second place with Army and one game behind Colgate for first.Â
- Bucknell can clinch the No. 2 seed in the Patriot League tournament with a win and an Army loss. The Bison will be the No. 3 seed with a win and an Army win. If the Bison lose, they will become the No. 4 seed. The Orange & Blue are guaranteed at least one game at Davis Gym. If Bucknell becomes the No. 2 seed, they will receive a bye until the semifinals.Â

- The Bison were picked to finish fifth in the preseason poll. Reigning champion Colgate was selected to repeat as title-winners. Jordan Hardy was crowned Preseason Libero of the Year. It is the first time a Bucknell libero was awarded the honor. She led the Patriot League in digs (591), 71 more than the nearest opposition, and digs per serve (5.68). Her digs per serve mark ranked her fifth in the nation. Hardy was All-Patriot League Second Team last season.Â
- The Orange & Blue return most of their offensive and defensive prowess. Bri Frazilus, the 2022 Patriot League Rookie of the Year, totaled 293 kills to lead the team and finish fifth in the Patriot League. Senior Catherine "Cat" Jamison collected 263 kills and 277 points, both top-ten in the Patriot League. Along with the returners, the Bison welcome five newcomers to the squad.Â
- Hagstrom enters his fourth season at the helm of the Bison herd. He is joined by third-year assistant Jeremy Young and newly hired assistant coach Haylie Clark, who recently graduated from Elon after a stellar playing career. Hagstrom passed Victoria May for fourth-most career wins in school history.Â
- Bucknell ranks third nationally in digs per set (17.78).Â
- Jordan Hardy currently leads the Patriot League in digs per set (5.62) and ranks 5th nationally.Â
- Hardy recently moved to second all-time for career digs in Bucknell history. She now has 1,485 in her tenure.Â
- Hardy has 511 digs on the season, which places her fourth all-time in Bucknell single-season history.Â
- Sidney Shaffer is fifth (.288) in the PL for hitting percentage.Â
- Jamison continues her sensational senior season as third in kills (297) and fourth in points (327.5).
- The Bison swept the PL weekly awards on Oct. 24 for the first time since 2000. Jamison won Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week, and Shaffer took home Patriot League Rookie of the Week. Jamison's honor was the first time for a Bison player since 2018, and Shaffer picked up her second Rookie of the Week award.Â
- The Eagles are 17-10Â overall and 10-5Â in Patriot League play. Last weekend, American swept Holy Cross and fell in five sets to American.Â
- American finished 15-15 overall and 7-9 in the Patriot League in 2022. It was their first losing mark in conference play since 1992. They lost in the Patriot League quarterfinals to Navy.Â
- Zeynep Uzen leads the team in kills with 421, first in the PL.
- American was selected to finish fourth in the Patriot League Preseason Poll. Uzen notched Preseason Player of the Year for the second straight season.Â
- Head coach Ahen Kim is in his inaugural season of command.Â
- Bucknell is 4-51Â all-time against American. Earlier this season, the Eagles defeated the Bison in Davis Gym.Â
