Highlighting the day for the Bison was John Gehrig's win in the 200 butterfly with a 1:49.34. The senior edged Navy's Patrick Colwell (1:51.8) for his first of two wins at the meet. Gehrig also took first place in the 100 butterfly. The Bison took first place in six events overall against scored swimmers.
"Overall, we made progress," said head coach Dan Schinnerer. "We improved from where we were in our previous dual meets this season, and we're pleased with our progress performance-wise as we head into our final dual of the calendar year next weekend."

Gehrig, accompanied by three rookie teammates, also swam the first leg of Bucknell's 200 freestyle relay team that beat out Lafayette and American's A teams.
