Bucknell entered the match in second place in the Patriot League with Boston University right behind in third, but both teams had to settle for a single point. Loyola defeated Holy Cross 3-0 earlier in the day to increase its lead over the Bison back to three points.
Kelley Francis, Teresa Deda, and Paige Temple all scored for the Bison, who are now 8-3-4 overall and 3-1-3 in the Patriot League. Morgan Fagan scored twice and Margy Porta tallied the final goal of the day in the 78th minute for the Terriers (6-5-4, 3-2-2 PL), but the Bison still managed to extend their home unbeaten streak to 13 (7-0-6) dating back to last season.
Despite the wet field, the action was end-to-end throughout. Terriers goalkeeper Celia Braun made a good early save on Henna Andican, and then moments later the visitors had a 1-0 lead when Fagan headed home Abigail McNulty's service from the left flank.
Bucknell tied it on a corner kick in the 28th minute. Deda's delivery skipped all the way to Francis on the back side, and Francis deposited a shot into the left side-netting for her third goal of the season.
It was Deda on the finishing end just after halftime, as Andican slipped a pretty through ball in behind, and Deda had only the keeper to beat to give the Bison their first lead of the day. It was short-lived however, as Fagan cut to the net and one-timed home Natalie Godoy's cross just three minutes later.
What a beauty of a goal here! Henna Andican with the perfect thru ball to Teresa Deda for the finish. #rayBucknell

The Terriers thought they had the lead just past the hour mark when a free kick found its way into the back of the net, but it was defected in from an offside position. It stayed 2-2 until the 72nd minute, when Temple scored for the second time this week. Katie Schiano lofted a high ball into the box, and Kalli Wethern directed a header perfectly to Temple, who took one quick touch and finished with her left foot. Temple, who scored the only goal in a 1-0 win at Loyola on Wednesday, now has three on the season.

But once again, Bucknell's lead was quickly erased, this time after just six minutes when Porta settled a direct ball in from Eileen Solomon, turned on her defender and scored her first goal of the season to make it 3-3.
Bucknell had two good chances to go up again in the final 10 minutes. Deda found space charging into the area, but Mackenzie Stickelman tracked back and made a sliding block on the shot. In the 84th minute, Andican had a clean header from close range but directed it right at Braun.
Even though the final scoreline featured six goals, both goalkeepers played well. Jenna Hall made six saves for the Bison, and Braun had seven for the Terriers. Boston University finished with a slight 15-14 edge in shots, and both teams attempted four corner kicks.
"I was very happy with how we responded after giving up the early goal," said head coach Kelly Cook. "We scored three great goals today and had some opportunities for even more. Boston University is one of the most dangerous attacking teams in the league, and they made us pay for a few uncharacteristic mistakes in the back, but it was tough footing in the boxes for both teams."
Bucknell plays its final non-league game of the year on Tuesday at Princeton, and then Lafayette comes to Emmitt Field on Senior Day next Saturday.
