Bison Soccer Teams Place Ten on CSC Academic All-District Teams

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell men's and women's soccer teams combined to place 10 student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Teams announced on Tuesday.
Representing the women's side are seniors Sydney Hess and Caitlyn Scott and the sophomore trio of Katie Connell, Reese Dolan and Louisa Thomsen.
On the men's side are seniors Cohen Weaver and Ben Sheffield, juniors David Krumov and Jakub Samelko, and sophomore Drew Roskos. Roskos and Krumov were selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists and will advance to national ballot to be voted on by CSC members to be announced on December 11.
Roskos was named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year and an All-Patriot League First Team selection after leading the league in goals. Krumov was an All-Patriot League Third Team selection and an Academic All-Patriot League selection.
In order to qualify for Academic All-District and Academic All-America honors, students must be at least a sophomore with a minimum 3.50 grade-point average, and they must have played in 90 percent of the team's games or started 67 percent of the team's games as of the November 18 nomination deadline.
