Bucknell Women’s Soccer Welcomes Six Recruits in Class of 2030

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell head women's soccer coach Kelly Cook has announced the addition of six members of the Class of 2030 who will join the squad this fall. The six recruits come from five different states and cover a variety of positions, from goalkeeper up to striker.
Joining the Bison next season will be Lauren Facinelli from Hunterdon Central Regional High School in New Jersey, Kyla Kaczmarczyk from Brentsville District High School in Virginia, Sarah McFarland from Middletown (Del.) High School, Ingrid Murphy from Harrison (N.Y.) High School), Tennessee Murphy, a Monson, Mass., native who attends Loomis Chaffee School in Connecticut, and Clare Nemsick, a two-sport athlete from Rye (N.Y.) High School.
"I am extremely excited about these six newcomers," said Cook. "It is an extremely versatile class that covers all positions on the field. The group brings a high level of overall athleticism and soccer ability, but what stands out is the potential for some great future leaders in this class. I think they will fill a lot of needs that we have and will make a big impact right away."

Lauren Facinelli
Whitehouse Station, N.J./Hunterdon Central Regional H.S./PDA
Personal/High School: Born Feb. 27, 2008 in Morristown, N.J. … parents are Joanne and Ray Facinelli … has two older brothers, Jon and Ryan … Ryan is an All-Patriot League member of the Bucknell baseball team … four-year varsity soccer letterwinner and two-year captain at Hunterdon Central … earned First Team All-Skyland Conference honors in each of her final three seasons after an honorable mention nod as a freshman … four-time all-county and three-time all-section honoree … team's rookie of the year as a freshman, "positive force" as a sophomore, and then team MVP as a junior and senior … earned the Bradshaw Coach's Award, given to the senior athlete who demonstrates commitment to total team effort … helped her team win a county championship and reach the Group 4 sectional final … played club soccer with Players Development Academy from 2022-25 and was team captain all four years … in 2025 was named to ECNL U17 North Atlantic All-Conference First Team … finished out ECNL club season with Match Fit Academy in 2025-26 … selected to ODP National Team in 2022.
Kelly Cook Says: "Lauren is a versatile defender who can play anywhere in the back line or at defensive center midfield. She brings a fantastic work rate and is a great natural leader. She is a strong 1v1 defender and a ball-winner who is willing to do the dirty work in the defensive half of the field."

Kyla Kaczmarczyk
Bristow, Va./Brentsville District H.S./Virginia Development Academy
Personal/High School: Born Feb. 6, 2008 in Bristow, Va. … daughter of Kelly and Rob Kaczmarczyk … has two younger siblings, Karina and Brennan … entering fourth year as a member of the soccer team at Brentsville District H.S. in spring 2026 … two-year team captain … earned all-state honors as a junior … also earned all-region and all-district honors … starter on state championship teams as a freshman and sophomore and state semifinalist as a junior … part of three district championships and three regional titles … played club soccer with Virginia Development Academy and helped the team reached the 2025 ECNL semifinals.
Kelly Cook Says: "Kyla is a left-footed outside back with tremendous defensive ability. She is strong both 1v1 and as a weak-side defender, and she can also spark us going forward as an attacking outside back. She makes great decisions on the ball and plays at a high rate of speed."

Sarah McFarland
Middletown, Del./Middletown H.S./Penn Fusion
Personal/High School: Born Aug. 5, 2008 in Christiana, Del. … parents are Nichole and Bill McFarland … has three siblings: Brent, Lizzy, and Tori … Brent is a goalkeeper with Delaware City FC … soccer team captain at Middletown H.S. … earned first team all-state and all-conference honors for a team that has won two state championships and two Blue Hen Conference titles … named conference Goalkeeper of the Year … also earned Delaware Top XI and all-region honors … has a record of 44-6-1 from 2023-25 … posted a goals-against average of 0.28 in 2024 and 0.75 for her career … plays club soccer with Penn Fusion … plays high school and club soccer in the same season, as Delaware's high school season is in the spring but Pennsylvania's is in the fall … helped club team to five North Atlantic Conference titles and an ECNL national championship in 2024.
Kelly Cook Says: "Sarah is an exciting goalkeeper prospect who brings a tremendous presence and the ability and willingness to command her box. She is very explosive and brave coming off her line, and she is also very comfortable with the ball at her feet. Overall, she is a complete goalkeeper when it comes to stopping shots, disrupting crosses, and with her distribution."

Ingrid Murphy
Harrison, N.Y./Harrison H.S./Connecticut FC United
Personal/High School: Born Feb. 27, 2008 in New York City … parents are Anna and William Murphy … has two brothers, Eamon and Henry … recorded 60 goals and 26 assists in a standout career at Harrison H.S. … two-year captain … three-time all-state selection … twice named league player of the year (2023, 2025) … also a four-time all-league and three-time all-section honoree … helped team to 2023 league title and 2025 section finals for first time in school history … played club soccer for Connecticut FC United ECNL, where she logged more than 50 goal contributions … earned first team all-conference honors … team won 2023 ECNL New England championship.
Kelly Cook Says: "Ingrid comes in with the versatility to be an attacking center midfielder or striker. She is a very crafty player with a high soccer IQ. She is able to create dangerous opportunities for herself and others, and she can really finish. We anticipate her being a consistent goal contributor at the collegiate level."
Tennessee Murphy
Monson, Mass./Loomis Chaffee School (Conn.)/FC Stars of Massachusetts
Personal/High School: Born Sept. 25, 2006 in Springfield, Mass. … parents are Tracy and Tom Murphy … has two older sisters, Brooke and Bee … Brooke played soccer at New Hampshire and later professionally in Sweden with Sandvikens IF … Bee played one year at UAlbany and three at Western New England … in third year at Loomis Chaffee in Windsor, Conn., after starting high school career at Monson H.S. … was all-league as a seventh, eighth, and ninth-grader at Monson … also earned all-state, all-region, and All-New England honors in ninth grade … at Loomis Chaffee was a three-time all-state and All-NEPSAC, two-time all-region, and 2024 All-American … Gatorade Player of the Year nominee in 2025 … Boston Globe All-Star in 2022 and 2024 … recorded 102 goals and 31 assists in her high school career, including 34 goals and 10 assists as a senior … played club soccer with FC Stars of Massachusetts.
Kelly Cook Says: "Ten can play in the midfield or as a target up top. She is an athletic attacker who can score goals in a variety of ways. She is a natural lefty who strikes a great ball from distance. She starts with a solid technical foundation and then just has a nose for the goal."

Clare Nemsick
Rye, N.Y./Rye H.S./Connecticut FC
Personal/High School: Born March 21, 2008 in Rye, N.Y. … daughter of Judy and John Nemsick … has three older siblings: Kiera, CJ, and Haley … lettered in soccer, lacrosse and basketball at Rye H.S. and will play both soccer and lacrosse at Bucknell … two-time all-state and all-section honoree in soccer … also a four-time all-conference pick … United Soccer All-Region in 2025 … captained the team as a senior … helped lead Rye to New York State Class A championships in 2023 and 2025 … part of three regional sna sectional championship teams and four league championship sides … team went undefeated (21-0-3) in 2025 and was ranked sixth nationally and first in the region … team did not allow a goal in eight games in the postseason … as a center back recorded six goals and three assists in 2025 and eight goals with an assist in 2024 … played every minute of every game over four seasons … played club soccer for Connecticut FC, which qualified for nationals three times and won the ECNL New England Conference title in 2023.
