
Bucknell Men's Swimming and Diving Downed by Army on Saturday Afternoon

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell University men's swim and dive team fell to the visiting United States Military Academy on Saturday afternoon at Kinney Natatorium in its first action of 2023.
Results
Bucknell (5-2) dropped a 170.5-127.5 setback to the Black Knights, who have finished as the runners-up in each of the past nine Patriot League Championships.
The Bison picked up wins in seven events overall, with Chris Fabian and John Gehrig earning individual victories while also contributing to Bucknell victories in the 200-yard medley relay and 400-yard freestyle relay.
Additionally, Jackson Vinarub (three-meter dive, 259.58) and Andy Dorsel (400 IM, 4:01.29) also posted event victories on Saturday.
The 200-yard medley relay squad of Fabian, Justin DiSanto, Gehrig, and Leo Kuyl posted the fourth-fastest time in program history (1:29.72) in winning the event over the Black Knights while the 400-yard freestyle relay of that same quartet posted the tenth-fastest time in program history (3:01.33).
