Bison Rowers Compete Against Lehigh

SHAMOKIN DAM, Pa. -- The Bucknell rowing team competed against Patriot League rival Lehigh on Saturday morning on the Susquehanna River. The Bison used balanced lineups across its three entries, and the Mountain Hawks had two boats on the water.
Lehigh took the victory with its two boats compiling a cumulative time of 43:52 (21:45 + 22:08) over 6,000 meters, while Bucknell's first two boats' combined time of 44:01 (22:10 + 21:51) was only nine seconds slower. Counting all three boats, the Bison had a total time of 65:41, an improvement from last week's 67:05 against Georgetown.
The Bison will host Columbia for a scrimmage next Saturday.
