
No. 24 Bucknell Women's Water Polo Drops Sunday Morning Contest to No. 17 Wagner

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The No. 24 Bucknell University women's water polo team fell 15-3 in its final match of the Bucknell Invitational this weekend to No. 17 Wagner.
The Seahawks took control of this one early, scoring six of the first seven goals to open the game in taking a controlling lead at the end of the first quarter. Wagner added four more goals in the second quarter in taking a 10-1 lead at the break. Bucknell's lone goal in the first half came from Bella Moynihan.
Larissa Hodzic added two second-half goals for the Orange and Blue in the third quarter, but the Seahawks kept firm control in the game's final stages, taking a 15-3 win.
Annika Lampen made six saves in the cage for the Bison, who will return to action the weekend of February 11 at the Princeton Invite for four games.
