Michael Donnelly Earns Win in Collegiate Debut
LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Michael Donnelly led the way for Bucknell as the Bison claimed the top six spots at the Bison Open on Saturday morning. Â Bucknell won the meet with 15 points over Lafayette (49). Â
"We got exactly what I was hoping to see," said Head Coach Kevin Donner. "Seven to eight men essentially ran together, and a few of them were in total control. They didn't have to extend themselves more than they wanted to today. I like to treat the first meet of the year as more of a ruster buster, and we train through it. I would say we passed our first test. We did have a couple of our top guys struggle a bit, but it was probably due to a tough couple of weeks of high mileage and some pretty good intensity."Â

Ryan Miele (20:37.4) was Bucknell's other top-ten finisher, as the Bison claimed seven of the top ten spots. Â Â Â
