Men's Cross Country Lands 16 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell men's cross country team combined for a stellar 3.41 team grade-point average last fall, and on Thursday 16 members of the squad were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

To be eligible for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade point average (GPA) in the fall semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports. Bucknell recorded a league-high 193 student-athletes out of a total of 1,346 honorees.

Of Bucknell's 16 Honor Roll members, nine also made the Bucknell Dean's List with a GPA of 3.50 or better, and four men's cross country student-athletes earned perfect 4.0s: Michael Devine, Alex Searle, Danny Wuenschel, and Andrew Young.
