LEWISBURG, Pa.- Bucknell men's cross country continued its tradition of marrying academic and athletic success with the naming of Carter Paul to the Men's Cross Country's Academic All-League Team, as announced Wednesday afternoon by the conference office. The designation is Paul's first Academic All-League award.
Paul proclaimed that he was "going all-out" during his senior year and that the season would be his best campaign. He fulfilled his promise, finishing 21st at the 2026 Patriot League Championships on a time of 24:56.8. The placement marked his best showing at the League Championships. He ran his best 8k time - 24:48.9 - at the 2026 IC4A Championships.Â
Paul, a Political Science major, owns a sparkling 3.80 GPA and recently completed a study aboard program in China where he studied Economics and International Relations at Hefei University of Technology.Â
