LEWISBURG, Pa.- Bucknell men's cross country finished fourth at the 2026 Patriot League Cross Country Championships on Saturday afternoon. The Bison hosted the competition and the Orange & Blue harriers used their knowledge of the difficult 8k course for its best placement since 2023 when Bucknell also placed fourth. Junior captain Ethan Pratt-Perez earned Second Team All-Patriot League for the third consecutive season.

Pratt-Perez was the sole Bison harrier in the top ten and the Bucknell runner held his own without assistance, finishing ninth, clocking 24:29.3. Pratt-Perez peaked as high as third at the 1.8K mark. He fell back to seventh - First Team All-Patriot League territory - for the middle of the race. Two Navy runners passed him and he fell behind to ninth as he crossed the finish line.

"I feel like I'm still learning a lot of lessons from my freshman, sophomore, and junior years now," Pratt-Perez said. "I'm going to apply them and just be better than I am now. Just keeping that progression going."

The junior distanceman is the first Bison since John Dugan (2011, 2012, and 2014) to notch three All-Patriot League honors and the first since Dave Bronfenbrenner (1997-1999) to earn three consecutive laurels.

Copper Hollinger was the second Bison to rank in the top 20. The sophomore runner logged 24:53.8. He sat 50th after 900 meters and continually improved his standing throughout the race. He finished 63rd at last year's Patriot League Championships.

Carter Paul was two spots and three seconds behind his teammate. The senior runner registered 24:56.8 in his final Patriot League Championship. Paul was caught up in the mesh, sitting at 76th at 900 meters, but the veteran runner broke free and moved up the rankings.

David Carillo slotted 28th, greatly improving upon his 85th placement at last year's Championships, with a time of 25:09.7. Carillo was 38th at the 1.8K milestone before making his kick.

Sean Wemmlinger rounded out the Bison scorers in his first-ever Patriot League Championships. The freshman placed 37th and clocked 25:31.4. He found an early kick and settled into the 30s.

Bucknell enjoyed a steady homefield advantage with the entire track & field team and a healthy contingent of 100+ alumni cheering. The Bison hosted a post meet alumni reception.

Bucknell will rest and refuel for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals on Nov. 13.

Navy won the title with 43 points, Boston finished second with 65. Army slotted third with 68.
