Men's & Women's Cross Country Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honors

LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Bucknell Bison cross country programs have long married academic and athletic success and the trend continued with the USTFCCCA's (U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association) announcement of All-Academic Teams. Both the Bison men's and women's programs earned the coveted designation, as announced Thursday by the organization.Â

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
The Bison men recorded a sparkling 3.45 team GPA, the third-highest mark among Patriot League teams.Â
Bucknell women's program logged a sizzling 3.62 team GPA, which was also the third-highest on the Patriot League hierarchy.Â
Bucknell cross country will return in the fall of 2026.Â
