Men’s Golf Moves Up Two Places on Final Day of Macdonald Cup

RESULTS
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Jackson Bussell and Jason Lohwater both shot 73 on the final day of the Macdonald Cup, and the Bucknell men's golf team moved up two spots to an 11th-place finish on Sunday at The Course at Yale.
The Bison finished up with a 301 team score after posting 297-296 on Saturday, and they finished ahead of Colgate, Fordham and Cornell in the 14-team field. Host Yale compiled an 846 total over 54 holes to win by four shots over runner-up Michigan.
Bussell was Bucknell's low man for the week, with his 3-over-par 73 on Sunday following a pair of 71s a day earlier. His 5-over 215 put him in a three-way tie for 11th place.
Lohwater also secured a top-20 finish, placing T-18th with a 218 composite (71-74-73). Blake Wisdom finished with his best round of the week with a 74. Freshmen John Bradbeer and Jake Maddaloni shot 81 and 82, respectively.
Michigan's Will Anderson finished off a wire-to-wire victory with a closing 70 on the heels of 66-68 on Saturday. Anderson's 6-under 204 was three shots better than teammate Hunter Thompson and Harvard's Brian Ma.
Next up for the Bison is their home Bucknell Invitational on Oct. 10-12.
