SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Michaela Bracken and Meghan Quinn each garnered All-East accolades as Bucknell wrapped up the ECAC Championships on Sunday afternoon.

"It was a very successful day three, and a successful weekend overall for our ladies," said Head Coach Kevin Donner. Quinn ran a season-best time to finish 6th in the 100, and Bracken ran unbelievable to finish second in the 400 hurdles. It was a PR by over a second. Although they didn't score, our two triple jumpers Macones and Gray had PRs which will set them up for next year, and Lalonde had a PR in the 200. The experience for all of these athletes will benefit us greatly for next year. I felt Macones had a heck of a weekend."
Bracken finished as the runner-up in the 400 hurdles at the Eastern Championships for Bucknell's highest finish at the meet since teammate Maura Fiamoncini was second in 2019 in the javelin. Bracken's time of 1:01.47 is a personal best, and ranks fifth in the Bucknell record books.
Also earning All-East recognition was Quinn in the 100, who finished sixth in the 100 (12.08). The time for Quinn is a new personal best, and she now holds sole possession of the sixth spot on Bucknell's all-time list after entering the meet tied with Yetunde Daniels (12.10).
Gianna Macones, who entered the day having earned All-East honors in two events on Saturday (4x100, long jump), just missed the trifecta in placing ninth in the triple jump (39-7.75). The mark for Macones is a personal best, and ranks fourth on Bucknell's all-time list. Teammate Lexi Gray, making her debut at ECACs, finished 16th with a personal best leap of 38-0.25.
Bridget Lalonde, after running a leg on Bucknell's All-East 4x100 team on Saturday, completed a solid weekend by running a personal best in the 200 in placing tenth (25.45).
Bucknell will now look ahead to the NCAA East Preliminary Meet at the University of North Florida from May 27-29.
