About the Bison
• Bucknell has two matches against Temple on tap for this weekend, including one in Philadelphia, Pa., and one in Hershey, Pa. It's the Bison's first time playing two matches in a weekend this spring.
• Bucknell moved to 1-3 on Saturday after narrowly falling 4-3 to Saint Joseph's. The match was tied at 3-3 before the decision came down to No. 6 singles.
• Sporting the best singles record through four matches is junior Nick Mueller (3-1). Mueller has won three in a row, including two victories at No. 3 singles. Mueller is also 3-1 in doubles play with three different partners. He's played each doubles match on court two.
• Cooper Bradshaw was also a winner on Saturday, defeating his opponent 6-3, 6-2 in No. 3 singles for his first singles triumph of the season.
• Also earning his first win was sophomore Guillermo Torres at No. 5 singles. He beat his opponent 6-3, 6-3 and is 2-2 in doubles matches this spring.
• Bucknell's top doubles duo for a second consecutive season, Michael Owen and Bradshaw, improved to 3-1 with a win on Saturday. The pair is 11-4 when playing together in doubles over the past two years.
Scouting the Owls/Series History
• The Owls are 4-1 this spring and are expected to face Wagner on Friday before playing Bucknell. Most recently, the Owls picked up a 7-0 victory over Villanova. Temple's only loss is to Old Dominion.
• Temple sophomore Marin Delmas is 5-0 at No. 1 singles this spring. Delmas was 15-3 in singles last season and 10-5 in doubles.
• Bucknell last saw Temple in a dual match in the 2019 spring, falling 6-1 on the road. Bucknell also faced the Owls at the Temple Invite in September of 2019, where Bradshaw collected a 6-4, 2-6, 10-8 win over Temple's Thibault Frumholz.
