No. 12/13 Loyola Races Past Women's Lacrosse

LEWISBURG, Pa. – No. 12/13 Loyola raced past the Bucknell women's lacrosse team, 21-3, on Saturday at Graham Field.
The Greyhounds (5-2, 2-0 PL) strung together one 10-0 run and one 6-0 run en route to their victory over the Bison (1-2, 1-1 PL). Sam Fielder (4g-4a), Livy Rosenzweig (7a) and Jillian Wilson (3g-3a) led the potent Loyola attack, with Rosenzweig also registering a game-best 10 draw controls and Fielder a game-high four caused turnovers.

For Bucknell, Ellie Mayer, Kali Peeples and Tatumn Kohlbrenner found the back of the net. Kohlbrenner's goal was the first of her collegiate career.
Eva Macris tied Greyhound Elli Kluegel for the game high with three ground balls while Emily Baird filled the stat sheet with an assist, two ground balls, two caused turnovers and two draw controls.
In net, Lauren Kinnee and Caitlin Tucker combined for nine saves. Kaitlyn Larsson made eight to earn her win.
Loyola led in shots (33-13), shots on goal (30-11), ground balls (16-15) and draw controls (18-7). The Greyhounds are now 16-0 all-time against the Bison.
Bucknell next travels to Lehigh for a 12 p.m. game on Saturday, March 27.
