Bucknell Baseball Drops Monday Contest to Central Michigan

Bucknell (3-12) drops its sixth-straight game with the defeat, while Central Michigan (11-5) has now won five straight games.
The Chippewas rapped out 18 hits in the victory, and drew 15 walks overall in the win.
Bucknell trailed 5-0 after the first inning, and Central Michigan never looked back in scoring multiple runs in each of the first six innings. Bucknell scored the first of its two runs on the day on a single by Chris Cannizzaro that scored Evan Madigan, and added its other run of the day on a sac fly by Eunsang Yu that scored Peter Marren.
Bucknell used seven pitchers in the game. Cannizzaro managed two hits on the day with a double, while Marren, Tyler Wincig, Madigan, Kendall Pierson, and Nick Christopher each had a hit. The hit for Christopher was the first of his career.
Bucknell will take on Central Michigan in the final game of its Florida trip on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
