Men's Track and Field Wraps Up Day One of Bison Open and Multi, Penn State National

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Â The Bucknell University men's track and field team had several strong performances between two meets on Friday during day one of the Bison Open and Multi and Penn State National Open.
Results
Jeff Brown, the school-record holder in the 60, qualified for the finals in the event (6.81) with the second-fastest time during the preliminary round before going on to finish 15th in the finals (6.93).Â
C.J. Falcioni posted a solid mark in the weight throw (60-1.75) in placing 13th overall, while Ninh Lam (25th, 53-4.5), and Hayden Lindsey (29th, 50-2) also competed for the Bison in the event to round out Bucknell's competitors at University Park on Friday.Â
At the Bison Open and Multi in Lewisburg, Jack Memoli took third in the 60 hurdles (8.38), a new personal-best by .08 that ranks seventh on Bucknell's all-time list, and is just shy of earning IC4A qualification.Â
Ryan Miele (15:56.59) took third in the 5000, while the Bucknell distance medley relay squad of Seth Hoffritz, Caleb Wooten, Dylan LoPresti, and Domenic Campagna (10:33.68) finished runner-up to Georgian Court.Â
David Kelly took top honors in the pole vault (15-9), an IC4A standard and a new personal-best by six inches.Â
The Bison will return to action for the second day of the Bison Open and Multi and the Penn State National Open on Saturday.Â
