About the Bison
• Bucknell kicked off Patriot League play with a 1-0 shutout of No. 25 Boston University on Saturday before defeating Sacred Heart 2-1 on Sunday. The Bison are one of three teams to open league play with a win, joining Lehigh and Lafayette.
• Bucknell snapped the Terriers' 17-game home winning streak against PL opponents and collected its first win over a ranked opponent since Sept. 11 of 2016.
• Senior Olivia Harris was named the Patriot League's Goalkeeper of the Week after allowing one goal on 16 shots faced last weekend. Harris notched her second shutout of the season and fifth overall in her career.
• Forward Maddie Rehak was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week after notching two goals last weekend. The freshman put away the only goal in the win over Boston University, then scored the opening goal in the defeat of Sacred Heart. Rehak's three goals are tied for first on the team.
• The other Bison with three goals this season is senior Brittany Willwerth. Willwerth tallied both goals in a 2-1 win over VCU on Sept. 8, which was the sixth game of her career with multiple goals.
• Senior Allie Christopher's five points rank third on the team with two goals and an assist on the season. Christopher was the other goal scorer in the 2-1 win over the Pioneers.
• Bucknell is second in the Patriot League with a 1.56 goals against average, while its .788 save percentage ranks 14th in the NCAA.
About American/Series History
• The Eagles are 3-4 after winning two of their previous three contests, and are the only remaining team yet to face a Patriot League opponent.
• American has scored five goals on corner attempts this season, which ranks highest in the Patriot League.
• The Eagles and Bison have shared two common opponents through the first seven games of the season in Richmond and James Madison. The Eagles fell 3-2 to Richmond, then defeated the Dukes 2-1.
• Junior midfielder Noor Coenen leads American with five goals and four assists. Coenen is trailed by three Eagles who have each scored twice. Coenen earned PL Offensive Player of the Week last week, while sophomore Georgia Davies was named Defensive Player of the Week.
• Freshman Fiona Minter has started six of seven games in the cage for the Eagles, while Caroline Miller was the keeper in the 7-0 shutout of Towson.
• Bucknell is 7-24 in all-time meetings with American, last defeating the Eagles 2-1 in the 2017 Patriot League Tournament.

About Towson/Series History
• Towson is off to a 1-6 start this season, collecting its lone victory over La Salle last weekend.
• Towson is averaging 1.29 goals per game, compared to 3.86 from its opponents. Nearly 73 percent of the Tigers' shots have been on target.
• The Tigers have faced three Patriot League teams already this season, going 0-3 in those contests.
• Sophomore Kathryn Parkinson leads the Tigers in goals with three, while freshman Samantha Aljets totals nine points on five assists and a pair of goals.
