Bison Notes
- The Bison received several quality outings after hosting the Bison Outdoor Classic, including event wins from Maura Fiamoncini and Kaitlin Salisbury.
- Fiamoncini won the javelin for the fourth consecutive meet to open the season (158-2).
- Salisbury took home first in the 100 (11.91), and also posted an excellent triple jump on Saturday at 39-5 ¾, easily qualifying for ECAC's, as well as coming in just under five inches off her personal-best of 39-10 ½ that she set at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships last season.
- Harper Stewart posted a strong meet in the heptathlon, posting a score of 4363 to move into the sixth spot on Bucknell's all-time list.
- Also entering the top ten for Bucknell was Alexandra Butz in the high jump after clearing 5-5 ¼.
- Teammate and college debutant Taylor O'Brien also cleared 5-5 ¼, with both her and Butz entering the sixth spot on Bucknell's list.
- O'Brien, a freshman contributor on Bucknell's women's basketball team, won a Patriot League Championship earlier this spring with that squad, and competed at her first meet on Saturday.
- Delia Sipe finished in sixth in the shot put (46-0 ½), the fifth-ranked throw in Bucknell history and a personal-best.
- Tia Tardy (1500, 4:33.83) and Ashley Blair (5000, 17:08.94) also earned ECAC qualification.
- The women took first place in last season's Bucknell Team Challenge, with Tardy posting a first-place finish in the 800 (2:10.84)
- Payton Capes posted a strong day in the steeplechase, entering Bucknell's top-ten list at the six spot as a freshman (10:56.65)
- The 4x100 team with Salisbury, Carli Lucke, Jennifer Dietrich, and Kafilat Oladiran ran the fourth-fastest time in Bucknell history (47.24)
