No. 10/11 Loyola Topples Women's Lacrosse

BALTIMORE, Md. – No. 10/11 Loyola toppled the Bucknell women's lacrosse team, 21-1, on Wednesday night at the Ridley Athletic Complex.
The high-powered Greyhounds (11-4, 7-0 Patriot League) moved to 50-0 all-time in Patriot League regular-season action with their victory over the Bison (4-11, 2-5 Patriot League). Livy Rosenzweig paced their potent attack, logging nine points on two goals and seven assists; she finished one helper shy of matching her own school record.
Sam Fiedler netted four goals while seven of her teammates also struck multiple times. In 2019, Loyola has outscored its Patriot League opponents by a combined margin of 130-45, an average margin of victory of over 12 goals.Â
Audrey Walsh accounted for Bucknell's goal. Jessie Britton and Callie DeWitt filled the stat sheet, collecting three ground balls and two caused turnovers apiece. Morgan Steinhacker tied Jillian Wilson for the game high with four draw controls.
In net, Jamisen DeWitt made 11 saves; she now stands sixth in school history with 568 career stops. Lauren Kinnee and Caitlin Tucker also saw time in the cage over the course of the contest.
The Greyhounds held advantages in shots (40-11), shots on goal (34-4), ground balls (24-13) and draw controls (14-10). They moved to 15-0 all-time against the Bison.
Bucknell next hosts Lehigh for Senior Day on Saturday. Before that 1 p.m. contest, the Bison will recognize their three seniors: the DeWitt twins and Walsh.
