About Bucknell
• The Bison are 4-5 after going 3-1 at the Liberty Softball Challenge last weekend. They posted wins over Valparaiso (7-1 score), Princeton (3-0), and Delaware State (11-4), and had a tough loss to Liberty (1-0).
• Raeanne Geffert was named the Patriot League Pitcher of the Week after making appearances in all four games at Liberty. She went 2-1 with a 0.41 ERA, striking out 22 batters while issuing just two walks over 17 innings. She struck out 10 in a complete-game win over Valparaiso.
• Freshman Ava Fairbanks was named as an Honorable Mention in the league's Player of the Week release for the second-straight week. She went 6-for-10 with three doubles and three RBIs.

• Georgetown is 3-11 after three straight losses to North Florida (10-1 score), Albany (6-3), and Purdue (5-2). Savannah Jones is batting .450 (18-40) with five doubles and three triples. The Hoyas have a team ERA of 8.06.
• Saint Joseph's is 4-1 after a 7-4 loss in eight innings to Troy. The Hawks opened the season with four-straight wins over Providence (5-1), Stetson (6-2), Bethune-Cookman (3-1), and Iowa (4-1). Carly Rybinski is hitting .500 (6-12) with two doubles.
• Howard is 3-11 after a 4-3 win over UMKC. The Bison went 8-37 overall and 6-12 in the MEAC last season.
