Bucknell at a Glance
• The Bison finished third at the Patriot League Championships with 482 points, bolstered by eight medal-winning performances. Their third-place showing was their best since 2015, when they were the runners-up.
• Bucknell finished dual competition with an 8-1 (6-1 Patriot League) record. With their Senior Day triumph over rival Lehigh, the Bison reached the eight-win threshold for the first time since the 2013-14 campaign, when they went 8-2 (6-0 Patriot League).
• The Bison hosted all eight of their 2018-19 dual meets at Kinney Natatorium. They also hosted the Patriot League Championships from Feb. 20-23. Their dual meet against Wagner, which was scheduled for Jan. 20 at Columbia's Percy Uris Natatorium, was canceled due to the snowstorm that hit the Northeast. It would have been their first, and only, dual meet on the road this season. Â
• In 2017-18, the Bison went 6-3 (4-2 Patriot League) in dual meets. Bucknell went on to place fourth (423 points) at the 10-team Patriot League Championships and third (309 points) at the 24-team ECAC Championships.
• The program welcomed 11 newcomers in 2018-19. They hail from nine different states: Pennsylvania (3), Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Texas and Virginia.
