• The Bison are currently 0-2 (0-0 Patriot League) after being downed by Hofstra, 13-4, on Feb. 16 in their home opener.
• In 2018, Bucknell went 3-13 (1-8 Patriot League). The Bison, who placed ninth in the Patriot League a year ago, were picked to finish in the same spot in 2019, as voted on by the league's coaches and sports information directors in the preseason poll.
• Bucknell qualified for back-to-back Patriot League Tournaments for the second time in program history in 2016 and 2017. The Bison were young and inexperienced a year ago, having lost three of their top five point producers and their two All-Patriot League honorees from 2017. Half of their Patriot League losses in 2018 came by three goals or fewer.
• Bucknell's captains are Callie DeWitt, Jamisen DeWitt, Sarah Dohler and Audrey Walsh. All four are first-time captains and will lead a young team featuring 21 underclassmen.
• J. DeWitt was recognized on the 2019 Preseason All-Patriot League Team. A 2018 All-Patriot League Second Team honoree, she led the Patriot League and finished ninth nationally in saves per game (10.75) that season.
• The Bison return their top four leading scorers from a year ago in Eve Calabria (19g-14a), Morgan Steinhacker (18g), Walsh (14g-3a) and Lillie Hunt (8g-8a).
• Walsh, who battled injuries throughout the 2018 campaign, previously led the team in scoring as a sophomore in 2017. That year, she racked up 46 points (26g-20a).
• Remington Steele enters his second year at the helm of the Bison women's lacrosse team in 2019.

Saint Francis at a Glance
• Saint Francis was topped by Radford, 18-13, in its 2019 opener on Feb. 16.
• In 2018, the Red Flash posted a 7-10 (3-4 NEC) record, setting school records in overall and conference victories.
• Saint Francis returns one 2018 All-NEC First Team honoree in defender Peyton LeConte. A year ago, she ranked second in the NEC in ground balls per game (3.13) and caused turnovers per game (1.87).
• In the 2019 NEC preseason poll, the Red Flash was picked to finish fifth by the league's head coaches.
• Bucknell leads the all-time series with Saint Francis, 9-1, and has won the past five meetings.
• The Bison and Red Flash last met on March 12, 2016 in Loretto. Bucknell netted 13 goals during the first half en route to its 21-12 victory.
• Eight different players enjoying multi-point outings, with Eve Lukowski (2g-4a), Emily Becker (5g), Christina Manis (2g-3a) each registering at least five.
UAlbany at a Glance
• UAlbany opened its 2019 campaign with a 15-13 victory over Yale on Feb. 16. The Great Danes trailed by as many as four goals during the second half but rallied to get first-year head coach Katie Rowan a win in her UAlbany debut.
• The Great Danes went 9-9 (6-1 American East) a year ago. In the American East Tournament, they advanced to the championship game for the eighth-straight season; there, they were dispatched by Stony Brook, 22-14.
• UAlbany returns two of its four 2018 All-American East selections in defender Jordyn Marr and midfielder Sam Tortora. In addition, the Great Danes bring back midfielder Kendra Harbinger, the 2018 American East Rookie of the Year.Â
• In the 2019 American East preseason poll, UAlbany was selected to place second by the league's head coaches.
• In 2017, the Great Danes went 12-6 (5-1 American East) and were ranked No. 18 in the final Inside Lacrosse poll. While they fell to Stony Brook, 14-12, in the American East championship game, they reached the NCAA tournament as an at-large selection; there, they were downed by Northwestern, 15-7.
• This will be the first meeting between the Bison and Great Danes. The teams were scheduled to meet during the 2018 campaign, but the game was canceled due to weather.
