About the Bison
• The Bison are 5-4 on the season after a loss at American and a 3-0 shutout of Towson last weekend. Bucknell will be looking to collect its sixth win on the road against the Wildcats.
• Goalkeeper Olivia Harris has posted three shutouts this season, which is tied for most in the Patriot League. Harris also leads the league in goals against average (1.55) and is third with 47 saves. The senior was named the Patriot League's Goalkeeper of the Week last week.
• Sophomore Emily Doyle is coming off a huge weekend in which she tallied three goals, two of which were scored in the team's 3-0 win over the Tigers. Doyle now leads the team and is third in the league with five goals this season.
• Brittany Willwerth is second on the team in points with three goals and a pair of assists. Two of those goals came in a 2-1 win over VCU earlier in the season.
• Freshman Maddie Rehak was named the Patriot League's Rookie of the Week last week after scoring the lone goal in a 1-0 shutout of Boston University. Rehak has three goals this season.
• Senior Allie Christopher is the other Bison with multiple goals on the season. Christopher is third on the team with five points.
• The Bison posted season-highs in shots, shots on goal, and penalty corners last game against Towson.
About Villanova/Series History
• Villanova is 3-5 on the season after dropping its last four contests. The Wildcats have been outscored 13-2 in their last two games following a 3-1 start to the season.
• The Wildcats are second in shots in the Big East (16 per game) and put 52 percent on goal. As a team, the Wildcats attempted a season-high 38 shots against Rider.
• Senior Lydia Sydnor is second in the Big East in points with eight goals and four assists. Sydnor tallied four goals and an assist in the team's 8-3 win over Wagner.
• Behind Sydnor is junior forward Emily Clarke, who has four goals and a pair of assists this season.
• Sophomore Jordan McGinley has started all eight games in the cage for the Wildcats. McGinley has a 3.78 goals against average and has recorded 40 saves this season.
• Villanova leads the all-time series 3-7, but Bucknell won the last two meetings in 2010 and 2011.
