Men's Tennis Heads to New York for Three Matches Friday-Sunday

About the Bison
• Bucknell is set for three non-conference matches this week as it heads to New York to play Hofstra, Marist, and Siena on consecutive days. The Bison were in New Jersey last weekend for the NJIT Winter Invite.
• Sophomore Drew Krantz went unbeaten at NJIT, winning three doubles matches and two singles contests. He was tabbed as an Honorable Mention on the Patriot League weekly awards release.
• Krantz's three doubles wins came with three different partners. He teamed with Andrei Vitiuc, Max Garramone, and Ryan Jurist in victories.
• Max McDonald, Jurist, Ethan Jacobs, Alex Pedrazzini, and Garramone all had a singles win at NJIT.
Scouting the Opponents
• Hofstra will play its first dual match of the spring when it hosts the Bison on Friday. Coco Haener was a Second Team All-CAA selection in doubles last season, but his partner graduated.
• Marist is 0-1 following a 7-0 loss at St. John's. Junior Christoper Gladden is a two-time All-MAAC selection and was named the MAAC Rookie of the Year following the 2016-17 season.
• Siena is 2-2 after back-to-back losses to Colgate (5-2 score) and Boston University (7-0). The Saints have one win over a Patriot League team, beating Holy Cross, 5-2.
Series History with the Opponents
• Bucknell is 12-2 in the all-time series with Hofstra, including a 4-3 win in 2017. Max McDonald had a straight-sets win on court five.
• Marist leads 2-0 in the all-time series with the Bison. The teams haven't played since 2007.
• Bucknell is 2-0 all-time against Siena, including a 6-1 win last season. Andrei Vitiuc, McDonald, Max Garramone, and Adrien Crastes had singles wins in that match.
