Krantz Wraps Up Unbeaten Weekend at NJIT Winter Invite

RESULTS

NEWARK, N.J. – Bucknell's Drew Krantz won four matches, including three in doubles with three different partners, as Bucknell wrapped up play at the NJIT Winter Invite on Sunday.

Due to injuries, Krantz played multiple doubles matches in the round-robin format and posted a 3-0 record. He teamed with Andrei Vitiuc for a 6-4 win over Wagner's Eric Poland and Ilya Kneppelhout, joined Max Garramone for a 6-3 victory over Hofstra's Ryan Hardin and Julien Wolfe, and teamed with Ryan Jurist to beat NJIT's Abdullah Fouad and Aleksa Petrovic, 6-4.

Krantz also won his lone singles match of the day, beating NJIT's Juan David Bejara in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1.

Krantz went unbeaten on the weekend, finishing 3-0 in doubles and 2-0 in singles.

Adding a singles win for the Bison on Sunday was Jurist. He defeated Wolfe, 6-4, 6-2.

Next up for Bucknell is a match at Hofstra on Friday. The match is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at Sportime Bethpage in Bethpage, New York.
