Bison Have Won Six Straight Home Games

About the Bison
• Bucknell is 2-2 after posting home wins over Cornell and Richmond last weekend. The Bison rolled to a 5-0 victory over the Big Red on Friday, and then beat the Spiders 2-1 thanks to Lexi Quick's goal with 2:51 left in double overtime.
• Quick scored in both games and added an assist against Cornell. She was named the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week. Katie Mannino also scored in both games, including the game-tying goal midway through the second half against Richmond, and was selected as the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week.
• Also winning an award was Olivia Harris, who was named the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week. She made seven saves in the shutout against the Big Red and then four saves against the Spiders.
• Sally Olson and Sam Chanzit also started on the back line for the Bison, and helped the team give up just one goal in over 157 minutes of game time.
• The Bison have won six straight home games. Their last loss at Graham Field came against nationally-ranked Penn State on Sept. 12 of last season.
• Bucknell is has the top scoring defense in the Patriot League, allowing 1.5 goals per game.
• Harris has the second-best save percentage in the league at .786. She has stopped 22 of the 28 shots she has faced.
Scouting Lock Haven
• Lock Haven is 3-1 with wins over Lehigh (1-0), Towson (6-0), and Cornell (3-1).
• Tamia Roach leads the Bald Eagles with nine points on four goals and one assist. She was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week after the wins over Towson and Cornell.
• The Eagles were picked to finish fifth in the Atlantic 10 this season. Roach was voted preseason all-conference.
Series History with Lock Haven
• Lock Haven leads Bucknell 26-9-2 in the all-time series. The teams have played in all but one season since 1990.
• The Bison are 5-5 against the Bald Eagles during Jeremy Cook's time as head coach, including victories in each of the past two seasons.
• Nicole Rupnik and Leah Fogelsanger scored goals in a 2-1 win over Lock Haven last season. Fogelsanger's was the eventual game-winner with 15 seconds left in regulation.
