Field Hockey Slots Five NFHCA 2025 Division I Scholars of Distinction

LEWISBURG, Pa.- Bucknell Field Hockey continues its academic success by landing five student-athletes on the NFHCA 2025 Division I Scholars of Distinction list, as announced Friday by the organization.

NFHCA Release

The NFHCA recognized 341 exceptional undergraduate student-athletes as 2025 Division I Scholars of Distinction. This honor celebrates student-athletes who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the fall semester and were nominated by their NFHCA member coaches. More than 60 honorees earned this distinction for the fourth consecutive year.

The five Bucknell student-athletes are Sally Hunter, Gracie Kothari, Brooke Parker, Mary Sylvester, and Jip Zwaard. Bucknell's five were the most among Patriot League schools.

Two NFHCA collegiate academic awards are yet to be unveiled — the NFHCA National Academic Team awards on February 17, and concluding with the announcement of the National Scholar-Athlete on February 19.
