About the Bison

Head coach Lisa Francisco returns to her alma mater this weekend when she brings her Bison squad to Penn State's Nittany Lion Invitational. Francisco lettered at Penn State from 1997-2000.
This is the second tournament of the year for Bucknell. Two weeks ago, the Bison placed 11th at the William & Mary Invitational at Kingsmill, posting rounds of 305-313-325. They counted four scores in the 70s during that opening-round 305, which was the team's best mark since posting a 301 in the final round of the 2016 Patriot League Championship at the Bucknell Golf Club.
Katie Childers (74-74-79, 19th) and Casey Morrow (73-77-78, T-20th) both contributed three rounds in the 70s and earned top-20 finishes in a strong field at William & Mary.
Meredith Langs (79-81-82), Erin Holmes (80-81-86), and Sally Sohn (79-83-86) rounded out the lineup at William & Mary. Sohn, a freshman, made her collegiate debut.
This week's lineup features Childers, Morrow, Sun Woo Jeon, Langs and Holmes. Jeon will be making her collegiate debut. Sohn will also play as an individual.

Bucknell at the Nittany Lion Invitational

The Bison have appeared in Penn State's annual fall event in 14 of the last 16 years. Bucknell's best finish here was sixth place out of 14 teams in 2006.
The Bison had a memorable second round at Penn State in 2010. Led by a school-record, 3-under 69 from then-freshman Bridget Wilcox, the Bison posted a school-record 296 team score. Wilcox's 69 and the team's 296 were both the best in the 17-team field that day, and both numbers remain team records.
Bucknell finished 13th here last season with rounds of 308-323-317. Lindsay Dodovich was the low Bison in T-35th place (74-76-78). Katie Childers posted two rounds in the 70s, and Meredith Langs opened with a season-best 76.
