RESULTS
HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – Playing for the first time in 2026, the Bucknell women's golf team got off to a slow start in tough conditions at the El Campeon Collegiate on Monday morning, but the Bison settled in during the afternoon round and had moved up to fourth place when play was suspended due to darkness with a few holes remaining. Sophia Bardunias (T-11th) and Nicole Yun (T-19th) are both in the top-20 on the individual leaderboard.
The Bison opened with a 336 (+48) team score in chilly, windy conditions in round one, but their four counters are 26-over in round two with one hole left to play for each.
Bardunias was the low Bison in the first round with a 79, and she is 6-over in round two. Yun and Paige Richter are both +5, with Richter's card highlighted by a stretch of three birdies in a four-hole span. Joelle Johnson has three birdies but is 10-over with the par-3 15th hole left to play.
Longwood (+46) was six shots behind North Dakota State (+49) at the end of the first round, but the Lancers have rallied to take a three-shot lead. North Dakota (+66) is third and within reach of Bucknell (+74), with Patriot League rivals Navy and Lehigh not far behind at +78. Bellarmine (+89), USC Upstate (+100), UIC (+101), Bethune-Cookman (+102), and Providence (+108) round out the 11-team field.
Norah Roberts of NDSU has the individual lead at 5-over through 13 holes of her second round. Teammate Madison Hicks is one shot back.
The second round will conclude on Tuesday morning, followed by the third and final round at the Mission Inn Resort.
