Men's Golf Starts with 309 at Lafayette Invitational

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell men's golf team posted a 309 team score on Sunday in the first round of the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Lafayette at Silver Creek Country Club. The Bison are in 11th place in a field of 14 with 18 more holes still to play on Monday.
Central Connecticut and Dartmouth are tied for the team lead at 296, with St. Peters one stroke back.
Freshman Daniel Levin continued his outstanding play with a team-best 73, matching his collegiate low round. Peter Scialabba followed with a 77. D.J. Magee added a 79, C.J. Zachary posted an 80, and Nick Geissler shot 82. J.B. Thompson posted a 79 and Jack Gregor an 89 playing as individuals.
The second and final round gets underway on Monday morning.
