Bucknell Men's Golf Finishes Strong at C&F Bank Intercollegiate

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- Thomas Walter shot a 3-over-par 74 to lead Bucknell to its best round of the week, a final-round 302 at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate at the Kingsmill Resort. That pushed the Bison up two spots into 24th place in the final standings.
Walter's 74 was the team's low round of the tournament, giving him a 54-hole total of 233. Bucknell's low man for the week was Pete Scialabba shot 78 and Will Bachman 84.
Missouri finished off a wire-to-wire win with a final-round 294 for a tournament-record total of 870. UNC Greensboro and Old Dominion tied for second at 872.
Kamito Hirai of Winthrop was the individual winner, posting 72-70-69 for a tournament-record 2-under 211.
Bucknell is back in action Apr. 2-3 at the Wildcat Invitational at White Manor CC.
