Minjoo Lee Shoots 75 on Final Day of Spider Invitational, Bison Finish 14th

MIDLOTHIAN, Va. -- Sophomore Minjoo Lee (Clarkston, Mich./Clarkston) carded a 3-over-par 75 on Tuesday as the Bucknell women's golf team finished up play at the Spider Invitational, hosted by Richmond at Independence Golf Club. The Bison, competing with only four players as standout sophomore Katie Jurenovich (Warren, Ohio/Howland) could not tee it up for a second straight day due to illness, shot 330 as a team in the final round and finished in 14th place.
Lee's 75 followed a first-round 81 and positioned her in a tie for 21st place. Local product Kelsey Meybin (Midlothian, Va./Saint Gertrude) shot 82 on Tuesday after opening with a team-best 77. She finished T-33rd.
Also for Bucknell, Brittany Rendell (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier) carded an 85 and Leah Antkiewicz (Aliquippa, Pa./Quigley Catholic) shot 88.
Maryland closed with a 299 team score to leapfrog Longwood for the team title. Maryland's 602 total was seven shots better than Longwood's 609. Richmond's Caroline Lovette made a par on the first playoff hole to defeat Kameron Carter of Longwood for the individal medal. Both players shot 146 through 36 holes.
Bucknell will be back in action next Sunday and Monday at the Regents Glen Classic in York, Pa.
