
Bucknell Women's Indoor Track and Field Team Takes Early Lead After Day One of Patriot League Championships

WEST POINT, N.Y. - Senior Nina Reinhardt (Northport, N.Y./Northport) and freshman Amy Mantush (Drums, Pa./Hazleton) of the Bucknell women's indoor track and field squad posted second and third-place showings in the pentathlon at the Patriot League Championships in West Point, N.Y. Reinhardt finished with 3,375 points, while Mantush collected 3,351 points. The Bison women lead after the first day of competition with 14 points, while Holy Cross and Lafayette round out the top three with 10 and four points, respectively.
Senior Kat Allen (Malvern, Pa./Conestoga) notched a seventh-place finish with 3,042 points, just 130 points away from gaining a team point for the Bison.
On the men's side, freshman Ryan White (Elkins Park, Pa./Father Judge) currently stands in seventh place in the heptathlon with 2,380 points, while senior Robert Gradoville (North Haven, Conn./North Haven) collected 2,278 points, which is good for ninth after four events.
The Bucknell indoor track and field teams will participate in day two of the Patriot League Championships on Saturday, Feb. 17. The meet is scheduled to resume at 8:45 a.m with the conclusion of the men's heptathlon.
