Bucknell Men's Golf Stands Sixth After Day One of Colgate Invitational

Colgate Invitational First Round Results
HAMILTON, N.Y. - Charlie Waddell's first-round 76 was tops among three Bucknell scores in the 70s, and the Bison took sixth place following the first round of the season-opening Colgate Invitational on Saturday at the Seven Oaks Golf Course.
As a team Bucknell shot a 306, with Waddell, the 2005 Patriot League individual champion, leading the way with his 76. Sophomore Keith Aoki tied for 35th with a 78, while senior Tom Lane carded a 79 and classmate Ben Pellicani shot 80.
Lehigh, the only team to break 300, holds the lead with a 294. Cornell and Saint Francis (Pa.) are tied for second with 300, while host Colgate holds the fourth spot with a 302.
The Mountain Hawks Max Muller shot a two-under 70 to claim the individual lead. A total of four players in the 80-person field shot par or better.
The Colgate Invitational resumes on Sunday morning with the final 18 holes.
