FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Bucknell softball team suffered its second loss of the season in a tough 2-1 defeat to Radford on Tuesday, March 13, at the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic in Fort Myers, Fla.
Radford struck early, scoring a run in the top of the first inning on two hits. The Highlanders scored again in the top of the second frame to hold a 2-0 advantage over the Bison.
The Orange and Blue finally got to Radford in their half of the sixth inning. With two outs, senior tri-captain Stephanie Morgan (Allentown, Pa./Dieruff) drove a ball to left center field for a triple. Junior Kelly Dugan (Mt.
