A native of Burnt Hills, N.Y., Victoria Catharine is the daughter of Don and Debbie Catharine. She graduated from Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School and rowed for the Burnt Hills Rowing Association. Majoring in neuroscience, Victoria graduated as a member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
In her time on the Bucknell women’s rowing team, Victoria was a member of four IRA Lightweight National Championship boats and one Patriot League Championship boat. At the IRAs in the Lightweight Eight, she earned a fourth-place finish, silver medal, fourth-place finish and bronze medal during her freshman, sophomore, junior and senior seasons, respectively. As a sophomore, Victoria also raced in the Varsity Four, earning a gold medal and helping the team win the Patriot League Championship. Additionally, Victoria earned three gold medals in the Lightweight Eight and a gold medal in the Lightweight Four at the Dad Vail Regatta.
