A native of Winnetka, Ill., Menley Denham is the daughter of Woody and Daphne Denham. She graduated from and rowed for New Trier High School. Majoring in neuroscience, Menley graduated as a two-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, she was a member of the Bucknell University Dean’s List, and she earned All Patriot League Honors in 2016.
In her time on the Bucknell women’s rowing team, Menley was a member of three Patriot League Championship boats. As a freshman, Denham came in fourth in the Varsity Eight. As a sophomore and junior, she was in the Second Varsity Eight, earning a silver medal and fourth place finish, respectively. During her senior season, Menley raced to a third-place finish in the Varsity Pair at the Dad Vail Regatta. Outside of rowing, Menley was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the Bucknell Athletics Leadership Institute.
