A native of Pomona, N.Y., Lena Kleinberg is the daughter of Joseph and Kay Kleinberg. She graduated from Immaculate Heart Academy and rowed for River Rowing Association. Majoring in psychology and women’s & gender studies, Lena graduated with Honors in psychology. She was a four-year member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and the Bucknell University Dean’s List. Kleinberg also received the LeRoy H. and Edith Griesinger Rohde Memorial Scholarship, which is given to one senior each year with preference given to students who demonstrate extracurricular leadership at Bucknell.
In her time on the Bucknell women’s rowing team, Lena helped the Freshman Eight to a sixth-place finish at the Dad Vail Regatta, and during her junior year and senior year, she raced in the Varsity Double at the Dad Vail Regatta. Outside of rowing, Lena was president of the Psychologists for Social Responsibility student chapter, research assistant for the Department of Psychology and a member of the Bucknell Athletics Leadership Institute.
