Bio
A native of Kennett Square, Pa., Natalie Minella is the daughter of Megan and Lou Minella. She graduated from Unionville High School and joined the Bucknell women’s rowing team as a novice. Majoring in sociology and French & Francophone studies, Natalie was a member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the Bucknell University Dean’s List and a two-year CRCA Scholar-Athlete. Additionally, Natalie earned All-Patriot League Honors in 2017 and 2019, and she was named to the Academic All-Patriot League Rowing Team in 2019.
In her time on the Bucknell women’s rowing team, Natalie was a coxswain on three Patriot League Championship boats. She earned a silver and fourth-place finish in the Second Varsity Eight as a freshman and sophomore, respectively, and as a junior she earned a silver in the Varsity Eight. Outside of rowing, Natalie was a member of the Bucknell Athletics Leadership Institute, Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, and she was a researcher on campus. Natalie earned a silver medal in the Varsity Eight and a bronze medal in the Third Varsity Eight this at the 1969 Cup in the fall of 2019. Unfortunately, the 2019-2020 campaign was cut short due to COVID-19.
