LEWISBURG, Pa.- Bucknell (4-4, 0-2 Patriot League) dropped its fourth straight game with a 7-2 defeat to Boston (4-5, 1-0 Patriot League) on Saturday morning. The Bison fell behind 4-0 at halftime, scored twice in the fourth quarter within 43 seconds, before Boston tallied two insurance goals for the conference victory. Julia Corropolese scored her first collegiate brace off two penalty corner opportunities.

Both teams' defenses allowed cutting and incisive offensive play. Boston shot 20 times and Bucknell had 15 attempts. The Bison generated nine penalty corners to Boston's five.

Corropolese posted a career day with two goals. The senior defender leads Bucknell with four goals and her decisive flick sent two balls past the Terrier goalkeeper. Both cage-finders arrived in 43 seconds and gave Bucknell a measure of momentum with fewer than 12 minutes remaining.

Lucy Johnson entered any pretenses of a sensational rally by adding two insurance goals in the next six minutes. The Terrier forward enjoyed a bountiful day, scoring a career-high four goals.

Boston scored fast and often in the opening minutes, twice finding the goal in the first six minutes. The Terriers' onslaught continued in the second period with two more quick scores. Bucknell pulled starting goalkeeper Sarah Althouse and inserted Abby Zanelli.

The Terriers were held scoreless for 28 minutes before Johnson found the goal for Boston's fifth score.

Bucknell remains at Holmes Stadium on Monday night for an Orange Out against Route 45 Rival Penn State.
