Bain, Robinson Named to CSC Academic All-District Men’s Tennis Team

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell senior Oscar Bain Moreno de Vega and junior Will Robinson were selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Men's Tennis Team on Tuesday. Both have been key members of the Bison lineup throughout their careers while also excelling in the classroom.
In order to be eligible for Academic All-District and Academic All-America honors, a student-athlete must have completed at least one full year at their institution while maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or better. In men's tennis, a nominee must have also participated in at least 75 percent of his team's matches at which a team score is kept.
Bain played through injuries in 2025-26 and finished 11-14 overall and 11-11 in dual matches in singles. The Ottobrun, Germany native went 19-8 in singles as a junior and 24-10 as a sophomore while also teaming with Adam Stavrakas to form one of the league's top doubles pairings. Bain is best known for winning the clinching point in Bucknell's victory over Navy in the 2025 Patriot League championship match.
Bain graduates this weekend ranked T-8th on Bucknell's all-time doubles wins list (70), ninth in singles wins (65), and ninth in combined wins (135). Off the court, Bain has a 3.67 cumulative GPA in neuroscience.
Robinson was a consistent performer in the bottom half of the lineup this season. He went 13-7 in dual matches, including a 4-0 mark in the No. 4 spot, and 14-13 overall. In the Patriot League Tournament, he won 6-0, 6-1 against Boston University in the quarterfinals and was up 6-2, 5-4 when the match was clinched against Lehigh in the semis.
A native of Summit, N.J., Robinson has a 3.56 GPA as an economics major with minors in business analytics and real estate.
