Krestinski Earns First Team All-Patriot League; Jess Leon and Caleigh Cummiskey Earn Second Team

LEWISBURG, Pa. — Three Bison earned All-Patriot League honors following a record-breaking and history-making season where Bucknell women's lacrosse advanced to the semifinals by winning its first Patriot League Tournament game since 2003.
Senior attacker Megan Krestinski earned First Team All-Patriot League while senior defender Jess Leon and freshman attacker Caleigh Cummiskey earned Second Team All-Patriot League.
Krestinski earned first team thanks to her record setting season as a captain for the Bison. The senior broke Bucknell's single-season points record with 73 points so far this season on 46 goals and 27 assists. She has also scored three game-winning goals and recorded seven ground balls, four caused turnovers and 31 draw controls. She ranks in several categories in the Bucknell record book alongside holding the single season points record including being just one point away from tying the career points record with 184 points and at least one more game to play. Krestinski is currently fourth in single-season goals with 46 this season, 5th in career assists with 64, 6th in single-season assists with 27 and 8th in career goals with 120. The attacker earned Patriot League Attacker of the Week once this season.
Leon, a senior defender, earned second team honors after being selected Preseason All-Patriot League earlier this year. She currently ranks second in the Patriot League in ground balls per game and 6th in caused turnovers as she leads Bucknell with 46 ground balls and 31 caused turnovers. The senior also ranks 17th in the NCAA in ground balls per game, leading a team that is ranked 4th in the NCAA in ground balls per game and leads a Bucknell team in caused turnovers that ranks 29th in the NCAA in the category.
Cummiskey, a freshman attacker that joined the Bison this season earned second team honors after a record-setting freshman season. The attacker opened the season strong by setting a new record for goals scored in a freshman debut as she notched six against Youngstown State. The freshman currently leads the team in goals with 47 and has notched 16 assists for 63 points. She also has five ground balls, two caused turnovers and 12 draw controls.
The Bison, led by these three All-League players are set to face No. 1 Navy on Thursday, April 30 at 3 p.m. in Annapolis.
